Premiere Ups Scott Shapiro to SVP Sports Programming

Premiere Networks promotes Scott Shapiro to Senior Vice President of Sports Programming, effective immediately. In his new post, he'll continue to oversee the daily execution of the company's sports programming and content, including FOX Sports Radio Network, as well as its lineup of podcasts and digital assets. Based in Los Angeles, Shapiro will continue to lead content strategy, while working closely with affiliate and advertising partners.

Shapiro joined Premiere Networks in 2015 as Vice President of Sports Programming. Prior to that, he served as Program Director of ESPN Radio. He previously served as producer of Mike & Mike. Prior to that, he held the role of Assistant Program Director and Executive Producer of WQXI-AM (790 The Zone) in Atlanta. He also produced Mayhem in the AM, and managed its simulcast on Comcast Sports South TV.
