Good Karma Brands and W269DL (101.7 The Truth) in Milwaukee celebrate the Talk outlet's second anniversary on Friday, February 10. 101.7 The Truth launched on January 4, 2021 and serves the city of Milwaukee as well as its surrounding communities with local news, entertainment, and community affairs programming seven days a week. The station was built to uplift the voices in the black community, sharing their stories, ideas and experiences following the George Floyd incident and protests.

In celebration, there will be a night of fun for its fans, partners and teammates to reflect and celebrate as it enters into its sophomore year. Milwaukee community leaders are also attending the event as a networking opportunity.

Over the last two years, 101.7 The Truth participated in various community events and as a result was awarded the 2022 Anthem Award for the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Corporate Responsibility category. The Truth also interviewed numerous notable guests on-air, including Vice President Kamala Harris, U.S. Senator Cory Booker, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, singer/songwriter Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blige, among others.
