WCBS-FM Raises Over $60,000 for America's VetDogs

Audacy's WCBS-FM/New York morning hosts "Foxx and Annie in the Morning" raised $60,078 for America's VetDogs, surpassing their original fundraising target by $10,000. The campaign, organized in honor of Veterans Day, aimed to support a local veteran by providing a trained service dog.

Foxx and Annie visited America's VetDogs headquarters on Long Island, where they met veterans and gained insight into the intensive training process that service dogs undergo. After hearing veterans' personal experiences, they witnessed how service dogs contribute to recovery, independence, and family connections for those who have served.

"There is no better feeling leading up to Veterans Day than raising funds to provide a service dog to a heroic veteran," said Foxx and Annie. "The WCBS-FM community is strong, and that showed in the beautiful messages left with donations. Our hearts are full. Thank you for showing up for our veterans!"

The initiative held personal significance for Annie, whose father served in the Army and shares a birthday with Independence Day. Listeners responded enthusiastically to the cause, leaving supportive messages alongside their donations.
