SiriusXM has introduced the Women's Empowerment Network, a novel podcast network spearheaded by Karen Hunter, the host at SiriusXM Urban View and a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist. The network is set to debut on Monday, December 9, featuring a lineup of original podcasts aimed at celebrating and empowering women.

Karen Hunter will executive produce the network, launching it with two new podcasts initially, with plans to expand the offerings in the upcoming months. The network's content will be available on the SiriusXM app and other major podcast platforms.

The Women's Empowerment Network aims to provide a diverse array of programming, including interviews with influential women from various sectors, self-improvement guides, financial advice and mental health discussions, all tailored to resonate with women's lives and professional journeys. The content will also highlight themes of resilience, activism, entrepreneurship and community involvement.

One of the inaugural shows, "Karen Hunter Is Awesome!," is a daily podcast where Hunter explores a broad spectrum of topics, from Bible prophecy to modern cultural phenomena, maintaining her trademark intellectual depth and straightforwardness. This show is designed to complement her ongoing SiriusXM show by engaging listeners in challenging and thoughtful discussions.

Additionally, "Financially Speaking" will premiere, targeting financial empowerment for women. This daily podcast brings together a panel of financial experts, including Dr. Tonya Evans on cryptocurrency and intellectual property, Dr. Tisa Silver Canady on financial wellness, Jacquette Timmons focusing on financial behavior, and Ruchi Pinniger, a financial coach.

"The Women's Empowerment Network is more than just a platform; it's a community where women can find genuine expression, encouragement, and transformation," said Hunter. "Supporting one another has always been a passion of mine, and I am thrilled to lead such a dynamic platform."

SiriusXM's Talk Programming Vice President and General Manager Dave Gorab praised Hunter's ability to foster communities and spotlight emerging voices through innovative audio experiences. "Karen's new network will not only elevate women's voices but also enrich the lives of all its listeners," he added.

Hunter will continue to host her regular show on SiriusXM's Urban View channel 126 from 3-6pm ET.
