Texas Radio Hall of Fame Kicks Off Membership Drive

The Texas Radio Hall of Fame (TRHOF) has launched its 2025 annual membership drive, introducing a reduced membership fee and announcing key dates for its nomination and voting processes, leading up to the Induction Ceremony and Radio Reunion weekend. The reduced membership fee is available until March 31, enticing supporters nationwide to join for $25 for the first year and $20 annually thereafter.
Starting June 1, 2025, TRHOF members can nominate broadcasters for recognition. An internal committee of TRHOF inductees will vet these nominations, followed by a voting period from July 23rd to August 6th. The 2025 Induction Class will be revealed on August 11th, with the official ceremony scheduled for November 1st at the Texas Broadcast Museum in Kilgore, TX.
Doug Harris, Executive Director of TRHOF, attributes the organization's growth in 2024 to several strategic enhancements including revitalizing its boards, enhancing its event calendar, reintroducing scholarships, and expanding outreach efforts across Texas. Harris emphasized the importance of radio in Texas and encouraged broad participation in the Hall of Fame's activities.
