Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW) and the National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation (NABLF) are reminding candidates that there is just one week left to apply for the 2025 LAUNCH Mentorship Program. Applications are open through September 29, with support from program sponsors Mr. Master and Premiere Networks.

Launched in 2023, LAUNCH is designed to advance emerging female talent in radio by focusing on engineering, audio production, and technical operations. The year-long initiative pairs a rising professional with a veteran industry leader, providing one-on-one mentorship and exposure to the technical side of broadcasting.

The selected participant will receive hands-on training in key areas including FCC compliance, RF systems, EAS, IP-based broadcast systems, automation, and network operations. The program also covers IT, remote broadcasting, digital audio, streaming, and systems integration, ensuring mentees are prepared to lead in the evolving audio landscape.

In addition to the mentorship, the chosen candidate will attend the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas, with opportunities to network and gain further insight into the industry. Whether pursuing Certified Broadcast Technician (CBT) certification or advancing a career in radio engineering, LAUNCH aims to provide the skills and connections needed for long-term success.

Applications for the 2025 program close September 29. To apply, visit here.
