Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio (MIW) has named Lori Flowers as President-Elect, with her term set to begin January 1, 2027.
Flowers currently serves as Manager of Integrated Marketing and Project Management for Urban One, working across Radio One stations and Reach Media's syndicated programming. She brings more than two decades of experience in radio and media, with a background in developing multi-platform marketing strategies, building brand partnerships and driving revenue growth.
Her career includes previous roles as Marketing Director for Radio One Atlanta, along with experience in markets such as Phoenix, West Palm Beach, Miami, Washington, DC, New York and Atlanta.
Flowers will succeed Sheila Kirby, who has served as MIW Board President since 2025 and will transition to Past President when Flowers assumes the presidency in 2027.
Kirby said Flowers brings a strong combination of strategic leadership and commitment to advancing opportunities for women in radio. Flowers said she plans to build on MIW's mission by expanding mentorship and leadership pathways, with a focus on supporting the next generation of industry leaders.
Flowers currently serves on the MIW Board of Directors and has completed executive leadership programs through the National Association of Broadcasters.
