Cumulus Media has promoted Art Webb to Program Director for News/Talk KABC in Los Angeles and KSFO in San Francisco. Webb, who has served as Assistant Program Director and Executive Producer for the stations since 2017, succeeds Luis Segura, recently named Operations Manager for co-owned WMAL-FM in Washington, DC.
In his expanded role, Webb will oversee programming strategy for both California outlets. He brings a background that includes more than a decade in Broadcast Services at Disneyland Resort, as well as positions with PodcastOne and Burbank-based New Normal Music, where he worked on "The Tom Leykis Show."
Larry Blumhagen, Regional Vice President and Market Manager for Cumulus Los Angeles and San Francisco, said Webb has demonstrated strong creativity and commitment in his previous role and is well positioned to lead both stations.
Webb said he plans to build on the stations' existing foundation with a focus on producing engaging and relevant content for listeners across the Los Angeles and San Francisco markets.
