The New York State Broadcasters Association (NYSBA) has announced its 2026 Hall of Fame class, with 77WABC/New York morning host Sid Rosenberg leading a group of broadcasters who will be honored during an induction luncheon at the Rainbow Room in New York City on October 22.
"The Hall of Fame Class of 2026 sets the 'gold standard' for broadcasters throughout New York State and the nation," said NYSBA President David Donovan. "The inductees represent a lifetime of achievement serving their profession and their communities. We are honored to have them join the Hall of Fame."
Among this year's inductees with strong radio ties is Rosenberg, host of "Sid and Friends in the Morning" on 77WABC. A Brooklyn native, Rosenberg launched his career in Florida before returning to New York, where he worked on WNEW-FM's "Sports Guys," "Imus in the Morning," WFAN and New York Giants pregame broadcasts. He joined WABC in 2016 as co-host of "Bernie and Sid" and assumed sole hosting duties following Bernard McGuirk's death.
Also entering the Hall of Fame is longtime Glens Falls broadcaster Dan Miner, Station Manager of WCKM-FM, WCQL-FM, WWSC-AM/FM and WDKM-FM. Miner has hosted WCKM's "The Morning Club" since 1997 and is well known throughout the region for his play-by-play work, public address announcing and multiple New York State Broadcasters Association award-winning broadcasts.
Joining Miner is his longtime morning partner Pete Cloutier, who began his radio career at WWSC-AM in 1966. Cloutier helped introduce rock and roll programming to the Glens Falls market with "Saturday Night a Go-Go," built a successful sales and promotions career, and has served as the sidekick on WCKM's "The Morning Club" since 1994. At age 81, he remains active on the program.
The 2026 class also includes WABC-TV anchor Bill Ritter, WNYW-TV's Rosanna Scotto, retired WHAM-TV Rochester Vice President and General Manager Chuck Samuels, and retired WBNG-TV Binghamton Vice President and General Manager Bob Krummenacker. Samuels began his broadcasting career in radio as a news reporter and afternoon drive anchor at WDVH in Gainesville, FL, while Krummenacker started in media as an Account Executive at WQYT Radio in Binghamton before transitioning to television management.
