The hosts of Premiere Networks' syndicated The Johnjay & Rich Show have been inducted into PHOENIX magazine's Hall of Fame after earning the publication's Best Morning Radio DJ/Team honor for the 11th time. The recognition comes as part of the magazine's 2026 Best of the Valley issue, which highlights the people, businesses and media outlets selected by its editors as the best in the Phoenix area.

Johnjay Van Es and Rich Berra, who air from iHeartMedia's CHR KZZP (104.7 KISS FM) in Phoenix, previously won the magazine's Best Morning Radio DJ/Team award from 2011-2016 and again from 2022-2026, leading to their Hall of Fame induction.

Reflecting on the show's longevity, Van Es credited its conversational style. "We have honest conversations. Sometimes we're funny or vulnerable or ridiculous," he told the magazine. "We don't try to sound like a radio show. We're just like friends on the microphone."

Berra said the show's success is rooted in its enduring enthusiasm after more than 25 years together. "We still love doing the show," he said.
