The Texas Farm Bureau Radio Network has reached a major milestone, signing its 150th affiliate station and marking the largest number of affiliates in the network's 24-year history.

Network Manager Carey Martin said the achievement reflects the strong partnerships the network has built with stations across the state.

"We are thankful to the 150 radio stations that affiliate with us to bring the latest agricultural and rural news to their communities," Martin said. "It's a huge milestone for us, and we're overjoyed in reaching it. It's a great opportunity to share the stories of Texas farmers and ranchers who grow our food, fiber and fuel."

The Texas Farm Bureau Radio Network specializes in programming for agricultural audiences, providing coverage of state legislative and regulatory issues, crop and livestock conditions, market information and analysis, and agricultural policy from Washington, D.C.

According to the 2025 AMR Farm Radio Listening Study, the network has the largest farm and ranch listening audience in Texas, making it the nation's largest single-state farm radio network.

The network's news team is anchored by Martin, Tom Nicolette and Jessica Domel, with additional contributors including Panhandle reporter James Hunt, livestock auction reporter Larry Marble, veterinarian Dr. Bob Judd, and economist Tim Snyder.

Martin noted that the network has more than doubled its affiliate count over the past six years, attributing the growth to its focus on serving both rural listeners and local broadcasters.
