Howard Stern will return to SiriusXM for a new season of "The Howard Stern Show" on September 14, while expanding the program's reach through a new partnership with HBO Max. New episodes will air live Mondays on SiriusXM, with adapted video versions debuting Thursdays on HBO Max beginning September 17. The agreement will expand distribution of Stern's show worldwide through the streaming platform.

Under the new arrangement, Stern will continue producing his live radio show from SiriusXM, while 40 cameras capture the program for an edited, streamable version on HBO Max. The streaming edition will also feature periodic additional content.

The partnership follows Stern's 2022 interview with Bruce Springsteen, which was presented as an HBO television special. Stern has been with SiriusXM for more than 20 years and has agreed to continue producing his exclusive live show for the satellite radio company through 2028.

"There's simply no one like Howard, and the start of his new season is another exciting chapter in an extraordinary run," said SiriusXM President and Chief Content Officer Scott Greenstein. "For more than two decades at SiriusXM, he's continued to evolve, surprise audiences and deliver the kind of conversations and moments that only Howard can."

Greenstein said SiriusXM was pleased Stern chose to continue with the company through 2028 and called the HBO Max collaboration "a compelling new video version of his show."

Stern's return September 14 will also bring changes to his longtime SiriusXM Howard 100 channel. The new lineup will include "Wrap Up Wednesday," an expanded version of "Howard's Wrap Up Show" hosted by Gary Dell'Abate and Jon Hein, along with additional opportunities to hear programs from Stern's extensive archives.

SiriusXM is also expanding the Howard Stern section of its app with "Howard Stern Decades," providing access to Stern content from or about the 1980s, '90s, 2000s and 2010s.

Stern's regular on-air team includes Robin Quivers, Fred Norris and Dell'Abate. Recent guests have included Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, Eric Andre, Nikki Glaser, Kate Hudson, David Spade, Sting and Shaggy, Eddie Vedder and others.
