Eddie Mendoza (aka DJ Eddie One) returns to SBS's KXOL (Mega 96.3 FM) Los Angeles where he began his broadcasting career in 2006. He'll host the weekday afternoon show from 3-7pm (PT) and will also be responsible for programming in his new role as Music Director of the station with "La Vibra de Los Angeles." Mendoza left Mega 96.3 FM in September, 2019 but returned this past week.

Eddie One is one of the original "Dreamers," as he was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador and came to the U.S. as a war refugee at the age of 11. Eddie didn't know a word of English when he moved to Los Angeles. He quickly went from war refugee to American citizen and, to being the host of the evening show on the Mega 96.3 FM.

"Eddie One is the DJ, entertainer and content creator who will take our Mega 96.3 FM station to the next level," said SBS President and COO Albert Rodriguez. "His tremendous success in entertainment and music is testament to his unique talent, work ethic and impeccable reputation. Eddie One is the ideal talent for the evenings at Mega 96.3 FM. A perfect match and we are lucky to have him in our family."

Executive Vice President of West Coast Programming Juan Carlos Hidalgo commented, "Eddie One is that fresh sound we were looking for on Mega 96.3FM. Eddie is an incredible talent that embodies the Latinx audience, urban culture, music and community rolled into one. We are so excited to have him back on our team."
