The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Foundation has revealed the inductees for its 2025 Hall of Fame, recognizing four esteemed individuals for their profound contributions to the state's broadcasting landscape.

Paul Braun has been a fixture in Wisconsin sports broadcasting, with a career spanning over five decades. Known for his dynamic play-by-play announcing at University of Wisconsin hockey games, Braun's voice became synonymous with the sport. "Shot and a goal!" became a familiar refrain for Badger fans, highlighting his impact across generations. Braun's tenure also includes pioneering statewide tape-delay broadcasts and mentoring numerous broadcasters throughout his career.

Denise Callaway emerged as a pioneering figure in the industry, becoming one of the first Black female reporters in Wisconsin. During her time at WTMJ-TV, Callaway covered significant events like the Iranian hostage crisis and civil rights issues. Transitioning to roles in community engagement, she continued influencing the broadcasting field through her leadership positions and currently tackles critical topics on Connect MKE.

Bill Hubbard, a steadfast pillar in broadcast engineering, has dedicated over four decades to enhancing media technology and education. His tenure includes pivotal roles at Wisconsin Public Television and as the NFL Frequency Coordinator at Lambeau Field. Hubbard has significantly influenced broadcast operations and trained future engineers, earning national accolades for his contributions.

Mark Zoromski has shaped the industry as both a journalist and educator. His efforts at WITI-TV and subsequent academic roles at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Marquette University have nurtured a new generation of broadcasters, with his initiatives winning national recognition including an Edward R. Murrow Award.

The Hall of Fame celebration will occur on June 19 during the 2025 Summer Conference at the La Crosse Radisson, honoring these remarkable contributions to broadcasting.
