Lemonada Media is welcoming a familiar face -- and voice -- to its roster with the launch of Alive, a new podcast hosted by Blue's Clues original host Steve Burns. The show is set to premiere later this fall. Billed as a "cozy and delightful weekly series," Alive will explore what it means to remain human amid the chaos of modern life.

The new program is aimed at adult listeners, many of whom grew up watching Burns on Blue's Clues and reconnected with him during the show's 25th anniversary, when a heartfelt video from Burns went viral and sparked widespread nostalgia.

"There are a thousand podcasts you can listen to, this is one that listens back," Burns said in the announcement. "I really want to continue what we started decades ago... 'Alive' is really just a continuation of that same conversation -- only now we're grown-ups, trying to make sense of a world that's a whole lot more complicated."

While Alive will forego the animated furniture of Burns' past, the podcast promises curiosity, introspection, and plenty of heart. "We're still searching, still learning, still trying to connect," Burns added. "Still doing our best to lead deeply examined lives, together."

Jessica Cordova Kramer, CEO of Lemonada Media, called Burns a natural fit for the network's mission. "Adults need to be shepherded through life just as much as kids do, and Steve is the perfect person to do it," she said. "He taps right into your inner child, helping listeners feel delight, comfort, and curiosity."

In addition to the podcast, Burns will debut Steve Burns Alive, a new live solo performance created with writer Matthew Freeman (The Ask) and directed by Freeman. The show runs July 23-25 at the Club at La MaMa in New York City
