Triton Digital Renews Longstanding Deal With Salem Media

Triton Digital has renewed its partnership with Salem Media Group, extending a relationship that began more than a decade ago. Under the renewed agreement, Salem will continue using Triton Digital's streaming and podcast services through Omny, along with measurement across Webcast Metrics, Podcast Metrics, and Demos+.

The update also adds Podcast Video Metrics for YouTube and expands Salem's use of Triton's Sounder audio intelligence tools. Monetization support for both direct and programmatic sales remains in place.

Triton Digital President and CEO John Rosso said the renewal reflects a long-term collaboration that has evolved alongside Salem's digital strategy, citing expanded measurement, monetization, and audio intelligence capabilities tied to Salem's streaming and podcast portfolio.

Salem Media operates stations across multiple formats, including conservative talk, Christian teaching and talk, business, sports, country, classic pop, and Spanish-language programming. The company also runs a large podcast network that plays a central role in its digital growth strategy. As of October, Salem ranked No. 15 on the U.S. Streaming Ranker and No. 6 among Top Sales Networks for podcasting.

Salem Media Group Chief Digital Officer Jamie Cohen said Triton's measurement and monetization tools, including the expanded Sounder capabilities, help the company better understand audience behavior across platforms as it continues to invest in digital audio and podcasting.
