Westwood One's Metro Traffic launches of Traffic on the Go, an easy-to-use traffic service delivering instant, live camera images of traffic conditions to smartphones and other mobile devices. The services is designed to provide easy access to traffic cameras positioned above typically congested traffic points and highly traveled routes.
Consumers will be able to get traffic information without having to download a separate application with Metor's one click access which is compatible with Smartphones.
"No other company offers such a powerful combination of ways to solve daily traffic problems in an on-demand world," said Metro Traffic President Steve Kalin. "Traffic on the Go expands our multi-platform distribution of the most robust and reliable traffic information in the market today, including traffic incident data, speed and flow information, a large network of live traffic video cameras."
Traffic on the Go will debut at the NAB Radio Show, starting September 23 in Philadelphia. The service will be provided to affiliates for integration with their current traffic offerings.
