KBWF-FM (95.7 The Wolf)/San Francisco brings the "Fitz In The Morning" show to the Bay Area, effective the end of October. As part of The Wolf Network, Fitz has signed a long-term deal to continue in mornings in both Seattle and San Francisco. The show will continue to operate from KKWF-FM (100.7 The Wolf)/Seattle.
Fitz, along with co-hosts Mary White and Tony Russell will be joined by San Francisco anchor Eddie King every weekday morning from 5-9am. Additionally, Randy Stein joins Fitz as Executive Producer, arriving from WSTR-FM (Star 94.1)/Atlanta.
"I am so very excited and grateful for this opportunity. I have looked forward to this moment in my career for a long time and am so happy that I get to do it with a company like Entercom. My plan is simple: I'm gonna have as much fun as possible talking to all the amazing country fans in both Seattle and San Francisco," commented Fitz.
Fitz came to Entercom/Seattle in November, 2005, where he took over mornings on the newly launched "100.7 The Wolf." Since then Fitz has consistently ranked in the top three in nearly every demographic, including Adults and Women 18-49, and Adults and Women 18-34, according to Arbitron.
"Fitz is a rock star when it comes to country radio morning shows," said PD Mike Preston. "No one connects with the audience at the emotional level better than Fitz. We are ecstatic that he'll be with The Wolf for years to come!"
"Seeing Fitz in action the past 4 years, I am thrilled for him to become a part of our team," said KBWF-FM PD Mike Krinik. "I have no doubt his creativity, passion, and the giant success he has built in Seattle will continue with our rabid country fans and advertisers in the Bay Area."
