MyNorthwest.com Wins Large Market Radio Award


The Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) has awarded MyNorthwest.com with the National Edward R. Murrow Award for best Large Market Radio Website. This is the first time MyNorthwest.com has received the award, but in past two consecutive years, the site has won regional Edward R. Murrow Awards.

"We are grateful for this recognition from the Radio Television Digital News Association," said Director of Digital Media James Bottorff. "The people at MyNorthwest.com and News Talk 97.3 KIRO FM are some of the most creative and hard working journalists in the Northwest and it's nice to see their dedication to the craft noted."

Since 1971, the Edward R. Murrow Awards have honored outstanding achievements in electronic journalism.
