Angela Kinsey to Host 37th Gracies Awards Gala

The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF) will hold its 37th Annual Gracie Awards Gala on May 22. Angela Kinsey, of NBC's "The Office," will serve as host, and the list of confirmed celebrity attendees continues to grow. The Gracie Awards (also known as "the Gracies") recognize exemplary programming created for women, by women, and about women in all facets of media, including radio, television, cable and digital media.

Kinsey will be joined by confirmed winners and acceptors including: Premiere Network's Delilah, ABC "Grey Anatomy"'s Loretta Devine, author and Food Network's Giada de Laurentiis, actress Sally Field, NBC News/Today Show's Savannah Guthrie, TNT "Rizzoli & Isles"' Angie Harmon, RLTV's Florence Henderson, ABC Family "Switched at Birth"'s Constance Marie, TLC's "Life with Niecy"'s Niecy Nash and E! and Style Network's Giuliana Rancic, among others.

The Gracies are presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Alliance for Women in Media that supports educational programs, charitable activities, public service campaigns and scholarships to benefit the public, the electronic media and allied fields. The Gracie Awards, established in 1975, honors programming and individuals of the highest caliber in all facets of radio, television, cable and digital media. (04-26-12)
