Country music's syndicated radio show Backstage Country debuts tonight on KKGO-FM (Go Country 105) in Los Angeles, bringing its unique artist-hosted format to one of the nation's largest markets. Airing weeknights from 7-midnight, the program features weekly guest hosts from the top tiers of Country music, alongside Nashville-based co-host and award-winning radio personality Elaina Smith. Launching the L.A. premiere week is chart-topping duo LOCASH.

Saul Levine, President and General Manager of KKGO-FM, called the addition "a fantastic" one for the station lineup. "Elaina Smith has great star power and fantastic rapport with today's Country mega-stars," Levine said.

The program is distributed by Key Networks in partnership with Beasley Media Group. "We couldn't be more thrilled to bring Country radio's only show featuring the top Country artists as hosts every week to Los Angeles and Go Country," said Dennis Green, Chief Operating Officer at Key Networks. "Add to that our co-host, the talented Elaina Smith, and it's the perfect combination to bring listeners the music and stories they want to hear from Nashville every night."

Executive Producer John Shomby added, "The whole crew is super excited to have the show on such a great radio station as Go Country. L.A., here we come."

Backstage Country now airs on 80 radio stations nationwide, including in 28 of the top 50 markets, offering fans exclusive stories and behind-the-scenes access to the Country music world straight from the artists themselves.
