Super Hi-Fi has rolled out its most significant AI technology upgrade since launching its Radio Operating System, delivering a threefold boost in processing speed across the platform. The enhancements dramatically cut the time required to deliver near-real-time radio content -- from 30 minutes down to just 10.
The improvements span multiple layers of the system, including the integration of new AI models, retraining of existing ones, code optimization, and backend pipeline upgrades. The result is a leaner, faster engine that retains Super Hi-Fi's precision while greatly improving agility.
Super Hi-Fi's platform is designed to automate the entire radio content chain, from programming and production to distribution. By simulating the decisions typically made by human producers, the system reduces manual workloads, lowers costs, and enhances consistency. However, that sophistication has historically come at the cost of computational delay -- until now.
"With these updates we've paired the quality and workflow automation of advanced AI for radio with near real-time agility," said Super Hi-Fi CEO Zack Zalon. "The result is an all-new way to deliver world-class radio with maximum efficiency."
Zalon emphasized that the real value of this upgrade lies not just in speed, but in unlocking new capabilities for broadcasters. Morning shows, voice tracks, traffic reports, and other time-sensitive programming can now be prepared and aired within a 10-minute window-without compromising production quality.
The company says the update marks a new chapter in radio automation, combining high-quality production with the immediacy broadcasters increasingly demand.
