SiriusXM has announced a new partnership with Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, bringing "The Andy Beshear Podcast" to its subscribers. The deal expands the podcast's reach through the SiriusXM Podcast Network and adds weekly airings on SiriusXM Progress (channel 127). As part of the agreement, SiriusXM Media has also acquired exclusive global ad sales rights to the audio edition of the podcast.
For his SiriusXM debut, Gov. Beshear will sit down for a wide-ranging interview with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries at the company's New York City studios. The interview premieres September 10 on the SiriusXM app and major podcast platforms, and will also air on SiriusXM Progress Saturday at 11 am ET.
In addition to the podcast, Beshear will headline a new series of live specials titled "Andy Beshear Presents," airing exclusively on SiriusXM Progress. The series will launch September 9 at 12pm ET with a live broadcast featuring fellow Progress host John Fugelsang and live listener call-ins. The specials aim to spark candid conversations about leadership, bipartisanship, and the pressing issues facing Kentucky and the nation.
"I want this podcast to be a space to bring people together - especially in such a stressful and divisive time in our country," said Gov. Beshear. "This is a conversation with friends, and we talk about things that matter to all of us: sports, politics, pop culture, our kids. I'm excited to expand this conversation with listeners across the country on SiriusXM, highlighting a wide range of voices and ideas that can help move us all forward, together."
"The Andy Beshear Podcast" will continue releasing new weekly episodes via SiriusXM Progress and remain available on the SiriusXM app, all major podcast platforms, and YouTube for video content.
