KIMN-FM (Mix 100) in Denver has named Nina Blanco as its new morning host, teaming her with Josh Griesemer for "Denver's Morning Show with Nina & Josh," weekdays from 6-10am. According to KSE Radio, the appointment makes Blanco the first Hispanic woman to lead a morning show on a major commercial FM station in the Denver market. Griesemer remains in mornings after previously serving as part of the "Jeremy, Katy & Josh Morning Show."

Blanco moves to mornings after earning Colorado Broadcasters Association Awards of Excellence for Best Afternoon Show in both 2024 and 2025.

"Nina Blanco is exactly the kind of talent who defines a radio station's identity -- gifted, relatable, and deeply connected to this city," said KSE Radio Vice President and General Manager Joel Clary. "We are proud to make history together."

"Nina was built for mornings," added MIX 100 Program Director Big Rob. "The morning show is the heartbeat of a radio station -- and Nina's heart has always been in this building, in this city, and in service to our listeners."

The station said Denver's Hispanic and Latino population represents 28% of the city's population, making Blanco's elevation a significant milestone for the market.

"I always dreamed of being in that seat, doing it my way, for a city I love with everything I have," said Blanco. "Denver is home. MIX 100 is family. If a little girl anywhere in Colorado turns on the radio in the morning, hears me, and thinks, 'I could do that,' then this is already everything."

Griesemer said he is excited about the new pairing, adding, "The best chapter of this show is just getting started." "Denver's Morning Show with Nina & Josh" features pop culture, community stories, listener interaction and Hot AC music.
