iHeartMedia unveils the addition of eight new podcasts to its iHeart Women's Sports lineup, further bolstering its commitment to providing comprehensive coverage of women's sports. This expansion includes a variety of sports and features prominent athletes such as Ashlyn Harris, Mel Reid and Lexie Brown. Launched in June 2024 in collaboration with Deep Blue Sports Entertainment, iHeart Women's Sports is the first dedicated audio platform for women's sports.

Jessie Katz, Head of iHeart Women's Sports, emphasized the platform's role in filling a significant gap in media coverage. "We started this initiative to cater to the underrepresented audience of women's sports fans," Katz explained. "This year's lineup not only continues our mission but enriches it with diverse voices and stories."

The 2025 roster includes programs such as "Throttle Therapy with Katherine Legge," offering an inside look at motorsports, and "Welcome to the Par-tee with Tisha Alyn," which aims to engage golf enthusiasts and newcomers alike. Other highlights include "Full Circle with Lexie Brown and Mariah Rose," discussing the latest in women's basketball, and "Wide Open with Ashlyn Harris," which will explore personal growth stories from the worlds of sports and entertainment.

iHeart Women's Sports also announced new partnerships with prominent brands like Capital One and e.l.f. Cosmetics, reflecting a broader industry trend of increasing corporate support for women's sports.

The platform's growth mirrors a surge in popularity for women's sports, driven by a dedicated fan base and increased media coverage. Listeners can find the new podcasts on the iHeartRadio app and other major podcast platforms starting January 15.
