Beasley Media Group has announced the retirement of Tee Gentry as Operations Manager for its Augusta radio cluster and Program Director of WKXC-FM (Kicks 99), concluding a 30-year career with the company. His final day in the full-time role was July 31.

During his three decades with Beasley, Gentry held leadership positions in multiple markets, helping shape programming, mentor on-air talent and strengthen community ties. In Augusta, he oversaw cluster operations while directing Kicks 99's programming and maintaining an on-air presence that made him a familiar voice to listeners.

Although retiring from day-to-day duties, Gentry will remain with the Augusta cluster as a consultant. He will advise on the market's programming strategy, including Kicks 99, continue supporting the station's annual Kicks 99 Guitar Pull, and assist with community relations during the leadership transition.

As part of the changes, Chris O'Kelley has been named interim Program Director while continuing as the station's midday host. Cody will expand her role by taking over afternoon drive, providing continuity to the weekday lineup.

"Tee Gentry's commitment to Beasley Media Group, our stations and the communities he has served over the past 30 years has been nothing short of exceptional," said AJ Lurie, Vice President and Market Manager for Beasley Media Group Augusta. Lurie praised Gentry's leadership, dedication to country radio and talent development, adding that his continued consulting role will help guide the station through the transition.

Beasley said permanent programming leadership plans for Kicks 99 will be announced at a later date.
