Benztown has launched an AI-powered sound effects generator for its Imaging Libraries, giving radio producers the ability to create customized audio effects directly within the Benztown Branding platform.
The new tool supplements the thousands of professionally produced sound effects already available to Benztown subscribers. When producers cannot find the specific effect they need, they can enter a text description and use AI to generate a custom sound effect.
Users can specify the duration of an effect or allow the system to determine the appropriate length based on the prompt. The tool can also generate seamless loops for ambience, beds, drones and background textures.
Benztown said the feature is designed to give producers greater flexibility while reducing the need to leave the platform to locate or create specialized production elements. The AI sound effects generator is available to Imaging Library subscribers at no additional cost.
"It is our goal to give all our users what they want when they want and enrich the creative process," said Benztown CEO Andreas Sannemann. "Having every sound effect you ever need at your fingertips in platform is a massive time saver, workflow improvement and will speed up the process creating fantastic imaging elements and productions."
The sound effects generator is the latest in a series of AI and automation tools introduced by Benztown for radio production. Earlier this year, the company launched Instant Imaging and AirReady, which provide additional ways for radio professionals to quickly create and customize station imaging.
