Salem Media Elevates Marcus, Montijo to SVP Roles

Salem Media has promoted company veterans Autumn Marcus and Monica Montijo to expanded senior leadership roles overseeing its finance and accounting operations.

Marcus has been named Senior Vice President, Finance and Strategic Planning, while Montijo has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Controller and Accounting. Both will report directly to CEO David Santrella.

"Salem is entering an important new chapter, and Autumn and Monica will be key members of the leadership team helping us shape it," Santrella said. "They know Salem and our businesses extremely well, and I have tremendous confidence in both of them and the teams they lead."

Marcus previously served as Senior Vice President of Finance and has played an increasing role in Salem's financial planning and analysis. In her expanded position, she will oversee financial planning and work with the company's leadership to align financial performance with strategic and operational priorities.

Montijo, previously Salem's Controller, has overseen the company's accounting and financial reporting functions. Her new position expands her leadership responsibilities across Salem's accounting organization.

Together, Marcus and Montijo will lead Salem's finance and accounting teams, with an increased emphasis on providing analysis and financial insight to support the company's operating businesses and strategic initiatives.
