KTWV (94.7 The Wave)/Los Angeles Ups Stewart to PD

CBS Radio Urban AC KTWV-FM (94.7 The Wave)/Los Angeles elevates Assistant PD Ralph Stewart to Program Director. He will continue to serve as Operations Manager of co-owned Adult Hits KCBS-FM (93.1 Jack FM). Stewart joined KCBS as Programming Coordinator in May, 2006. Before that he was PD for All Comedy Radio. Stewart also served as APD/MD for then Smooth Jazz KTWV for 12 years until May, 2003.
In an in-house memo, Market Manager Dan Kearney said, "For nearly 13 years, beginning in 1990, he served as the station's APD, playing a major role in the sound and music on The Wave. Ralph's passion, vision and understanding of The Wave's brand, plus his track record of success as part of the team that helped keep KTWV in the top five for over a decade make him a perfect choice for PD."
