Silverfish Media to Launch ''Country with Carsen''

Big D and Bubba's Silverfish Media announces Carsen in her new role as midday host of the "Country with Carsen Show" from 10am-3pm ET weekdays, launching January 18. Carsen will air from the Silverfish Media studios in Nashville. She will also contribute to the Big D and Bubba morning show by adding a female perspective. Compass Media Networks will be the syndication arm handling affiliate and ad sales.

Carsen (aka Jessica Humphreville) transitioned into radio after a stint at MTV at WRCH-FM/Hartford. From there, she went south to Active Rock WBUZ-FM and Rock WRQQ-FM/Nashville. Carsen then turned Country with Marty McFly and Stew James in mornings on WKDF-FM.

Carsen said, "Being given the opportunity to work with Big D and Bubba and Compass Media Networks is humbling, and I can't wait to get started. I'm also excited to get back to my friends in colleagues in the country format, and to my home in Nashville."

"Programmers keep telling us that they need real personalities in all dayparts. So, we're excited to launch a midday show that will provide better content, live phone calls, and more energy" added Big D. "Carsen will do all that and still provide stations with custom local workparts."

In addition to hosting "Country with Carsen," she'll also serve as the Assistant PD of Silverfish Media, reporting to Director of Programming Patrick Thomas.
